NEW YORK, Feb. 27, 2024 — Premise, a leading provider of traditional trade insights and analytics solutions, announced the appointment of Carlos Pelayo as its Chief Financial Officer. With extensive experience in tech finance, investment banking, and corporate strategy, Carlos is poised to steer Premise’s financial roadmap toward sustained growth and innovation.
Carlos joins Premise from La Haus, a venture-backed proptech platform operating in Latin America, where he served as Chief Financial Officer. At La Haus, he spearheaded financial strategy, investor relations, and corporate development, including securing over $60 million in venture capital funding and driving the company’s path to profitability. Prior to La Haus, Carlos held senior leadership roles at Credit Suisse Investment Bank and HSBC, where he advised on mergers, acquisitions, IPOs, and debt financing transactions across Latin America.

Carlos holds an MBA from Stanford University and will be based in Mexico City, bringing deep regional expertise as Premise continues to expand its presence in Latin America and beyond.
