In a recent packaging release in the powdered drinks category in Argentina, the team wanted to know in real time to what extent new packaging had made it onto shelves to maximize their media investment.
Mondelēz leveraged Premise to crowdsource real-time data and images uncovering the presence of both the new and old packaging from over 250 traditional retail stores across Buenos Aires, Argentina.
Within seven days, Mondelēz had received 263 submissions from unique retail outlets, revealing that only 34% of stores had the new packaging style on display and without disrupting the work of their physical field sales teams.
With the actionable and store-specific data Premise provided, Mondelez sales and marketing teams were able to focus on increasing the coverage of the new packaging in specific stores across Buenos Aires, solving any distribution issues that had led to the gaps in product availability.
