Haiti: Fuel Crisis and Protests

Haitians have taken to the street to protest a myriad of shortcomings from their government. Chiefly among them is the worsening fuel crisis. Beginning in late August, Contributors began reporting long lines at fuel stations. Now, in mid September, contributors have began reporting protests and roadblocks across Haiti fueled primarily by dissatisfaction with gas prices.

Methodology
Premise collected location and event specific data from across Haiti, receiving 102 submissions from the 5 major urban areas in the country between August 15th and September 15th 2022.
